Mercedes W203 C-Class 03-07 D99 Android or WindowsCE
The Dynavin is now available in Audi, BMW, Mercedes, and Volkswagen and every other car model in between. To see a full listing of them, visit this section of our site to see for yourself. These models are available in Android and Windows CE applications.
And Dynavin has been updating their products, the latest D99 units are now the D99+ and at a lower price. Some D95 features are carried over, but the new D99 is significantly more reliable, robust, and easier to use. Some features like the OBC interface (a great add-on for monitoring certain car function), PDC Sensor support (for equipped cars), and a new Parrot bluetooth system are just some of the new features added.
The Android units are basically just like your Android phones, flexible, innovative, expandable, but usually require significantly more settings, adjustments, and difficulties. The WindowsCE models are a more conventional double-din system with standard GPS maps on a miniSD.
There are two screens here, you can "swipe" the screen back and forth, the (probably) most common sources (radio, ipod, phone, etc) are on page one with the less common sources (USB, TV, etc) on page 2. You can also access the settings from here. I like the large clear buttons, it makes finding a source while driving quite a bit easier.

USER DETAILS:
Dynavin D99 Models are now all D99+ as of September 2012
1) If you already have a D99 or D95 unit, there is no update to the D99+ units. This is like buying iP4S or IP5 phone, the OS is simliar but you have to buy a newer unit.
2) Screen User Interface improvements include similar color schemes throughout the whole unit, regardless of the source you use (CD or SD,etc.)
3) As stated above, the new Parrot bluetooth setup is much improved. Providing more clarity, better settings control, and better compatibility with the status of your phone. Additionally, you can do bluetooth streaming from your phone and still use the navigation without any crude hacks.
4) The OBC systems you are used to seeing on OE screens are better incorporated in the D99+ units. PDC/PDS advanced settings, audio MID settings, Camera overlay on top of the sensor graphics, and volume configurabiility while in reverse. Some of these features are in a hidden portion of the system and will require a little more research to access.
5) Like the older E36 OE stereos, you can also add a "CODE" or password to prevent theft. The good news is unlike the old E36 units, you can just enter the code once. Only if the power is lost, does the code ever need to be entered again.
6) Android units are designed for tether to your existing cell phone/service provider. If you have an android phone already, most times, we recommend you order the WindowsCE. There is a lot of literature on how to set up your android phone to the android system, most of it will only give you a few features like apps, web browsing, and slightly better phone integration into the unit for navigation. If you are not interested in fiddling with the settings, we recommend the WindowsCE unit.
