H16 HID Bulbs: Always wanted Osram CBI bulbs but were put off by the price tag? Afraid of “discount” HID bulbs that promise a lot but don’t deliver? Morimoto XB HID bulbs are the perfect solution. A precision manufacturing process provides a perfectly aligned 100% Philips Quartz glass bulb with a capsule containing high-quality halide salts that are installed into the base. All Star Wiring: The wire harness is one of the most critical elements of any HID lighting upgrade. This is certainly not the place to cut corners, and thankfully Morimoto didn’t. The top-of-the-line relay harness included in H16 HID conversion kits features 14-gauge stranded copper wiring, over-molded fittings and triple-sealed central relay packs for protection against the harshest elements. Installation is plug-n-play, so you won’t have to take on any additional modifications to get your new system to work with original cabin controls.

Can It Canbus?: Yes, it can! Morimoto’s Standalone Canbus harness is available as an option when working on vehicles that display a “bulb out” error message when original lighting components are replaced. This happens in many modern cars that use smart technology to allow electronic control units and devices in the system to communicate with each other. The Canbus harness is able to trick the system into thinking nothing has changed, while doing its job of supplying the proper power and signal delivery to your newly installed H16 HID headlight components.
