H7 HID Ballasts: California native, Artur Saakyan, provided the outward industrial edge design and state-of-the-art internal technology that set the latest generation of XB ballasts apart from the crowd. These ballasts race to warm up to full intensity and are wired to reduce high voltage transmitted through the wiring that has the tendency to cause other replacement ballasts to cause radio interfere. DSP 3.0 circuit software and a shielded main circuit board improve reliability, input and output efficiency. This may all seem a little dry and technical, but for lighting nerds like us, it’s electrifying!

H7 HID Bulbs: Morimoto spared no effort or expense in perfecting the XB bulbs included in H7 HID conversion kits. From premium halide salts sourced from German-supplier Messer to a perfectly aligned Philips Quartz glass housing, we’d put these XB HID bulbs up against the best. In fact, we have, and going toe to toe with legendary Osram CBI bulbs at 5500K, we could barely tell the difference. No matter how you measure luminosity, you’ll see it in full display driving in the darkest conditions.
