The Ocular projector shrouds offer a blend of aesthetic appeal and functionality, fitting seamlessly over nearly every umnitza projector without requiring any trimming. Crafted with a clean design featuring smooth chrome and textured finishes, these shrouds provide wide coverage with minimal depth, ensuring versatility without obstructing visibility. In comparison to alternatives, Morimoto shrouds stand out for their high-quality plastic construction and durable metalized chrome finishes, resisting deformation and flaking even under heat stress from HID bulbs. While Centric Rings for mounting aren't included by default, they're recommended for easier installation, along with JB Quik Weld to prevent vibrations over time. Additionally, the option to customize with LED Halos further enhances the retrofitting process, with Profile Pivot and Profile Pixel systems offering easy mounting for added visual flair. Trimming, a common task during retrofitting, is facilitated by the shrouds' plastic material, making adjustments straightforward with tools like the Dremel hand tool with EZ Lock cutting wheels.
